Qian Yitai said that lithium-ion batteries have made significant progress in power batteries, but organic electrolytes have potential safety hazards. The application of electric bicycles and energy storage still needs further research. Water-based ion batteries are highly safe, and water-based metal oxide batteries can further increase energy density. Water-based zinc-ion batteries are beneficial to inhibit the growth of dendrites and are expected to gradually replace lead-acid batteries.


\"In the past six years, the green water-based secondary battery we developed has successfully invested 20 million yuan in research and development funds based on the button battery in the article, magnified 100,000 times to achieve pilot testing, and successfully prepared a practical secondary battery that can drive electric bicycles. Qian Yitai concluded that the future development goal of high-safety water-based secondary batteries is to increase the energy density of lithium manganate/zinc-doped sodium titanium phosphate batteries to 70 Wh/kg, with a cycle life of more than 500 times, which can be applied Electric bicycles and hybrid vehicles are further used for military special purposes; the cycle life of lithium manganate/sodium titanium phosphate battery system is increased to more than 3000 times for energy storage.
